Halloween 2008

This year we decided to have a themed halloween, like we did last year.

This year we chose "The Wizard of Oz" for the theme. I was the scarecrow, Rylan was the Cowardly Lion, and Sophia was the Wicked Witch of the West.

Sophia made my costume from scratch and it took the most work, but in the end it looked the best. (thats what everyone told me as we went door to door!)

Rylan ALMOST 2 years old

I know it's been months and months, but I don't have time to blog, I work and travel 11 hrs a day, and not much left to get rylan fed, bathed and in bed. Then Weekends, we do cleaning and shopping. So, it may have taken a while but here are some new picturs.

Yes, That is my son in a shopping bag. It was so funny, at Judy's we actully carried him around in a bag. It was so funny. (good thing the bag didn't break)

Not exactly a month... I'm getting better!

Well since it has snowed, we helped Rylan make his first snowman, and then then next day some kids kicked it over stole his broom and we found it a few streets over. So SAD... :(

We also got to spend a day with Jusitn's dad, and we saw our cousins and Rylan and Aaron got to play together.

... and another month goes by!

Well I know it's been another month, my posts are getting farther and farther apart. I'm just so busy and it takes so much time to upload the cameara and post and usually I do it after Rylan is asleep so I can get it done without interuption (all those with kids know how precious those moments are). Anyway I have just been so tired lately and haven't been able to stay up.

My mom came for a visit and we spend the day together shopping and having fun. I miss you so much mom, I hope you come visit again soon!

Halloween was so exciting, Rylan loved taking the candy and throwing it in his little pumpkin.

Awww, isn't rylan and the kitty so cute... We thought Rylan had chicking pox BUT we found out it wasn't so cute rylan hugging the cat. He got flea bites all over him.

This is Rylan's new hiding place! What a smarty pants! (yes robyn I said pants)

Here is Rylan at daycare. He loves to do crafts there, he also loves the baby girl there.

Holy CRAP it's been more than a month....

Well lots has happened...

Rylan is gettin so big and he is learning so much. His little mind is a sponge and he can learn anything right now.

We are teaching him so many different words now. Too many to list. The cutest is pee pee.

We ask him if he pee pee'd and he says pee pee and points to his diaper and then goes and gets his wipes and a diaper and hops up on the couch to be changed. I think potty training will come soon, maybe after christmas.

We also say "what sound does a turkey make" and he goes "gobble gobble gobble".

He is starting to learn to eat with a fork and a spoon all by himslef now.

He can also blow kisses and smell his feet or hands and stay pfhew.

He is such a little sweety, yesterday morning he woke up early at 5am is and I brought him into our bed and he fell back asleep. Then at 8 ish when he woke up he goes mamma and I open my eyese and there he is sitting smiling at me and leans in and kisses me on the lips, then he says "play".

He can cary on convorsations too and understands what we are saying we tell him to go get things and he brings them to us. He is such a little smarty.

Here is the new chair we bought Rylan. He loves sitting in it and swinging his feet, or trying to tip it backwards. lol.

Here he is with his new tool belt on. He's always grabbing daddy's tools and now he has his own that don't hurt when he thows them at you. :)

Look what a mess he makes... he's so sneeky trying to get through the baracades.

Today we stoped in to see Daddy at work and he took his break with us. Rylan loves playing with his daddy, he cried when he had to go back to work.
